    Day 12 - Chocolate

Now this is one that I know you'll all end up loving!! It may taste a little strange at first, as it is raw chocolate and not as sweet as the chocolate that you buy from the shops...my son at first didn't like them but now he's always asking me to make more when he's finished the batch that I've just done. This chocolate you can happily eat for breakfast, as nothing is processed and it's packed full of nutrients that you're brain (and muscles) will love you for!! These can be

    Day 8 - Haloumi

I remember the first time I had grilled haloumi about 20yrs ago...I couldn't imagine what it would be like to have a cheese that remains firm when grilled....not all gooey and runny...well..I loved it! I have been having it ever since and my son loves it too...we sometimes have it a snack, as it's so easy to prepare. If you have never tried this before, give it a go. It's great to add to salads, especially in the summer time when it's too hot to eat a hot dinner, as you feel

Day 6 - Goat's cheese and capsicum balls

Here's another really quick and easy thing to do for any party or get together... Goats's cheese ball wrapped in delicious roasted capsicum... this is something that your children, especially the little ones, can do... I used lemon thyme (it looked so nice) to coat the balls in but you could also use plain thyme, sesame seeds, dill, corriander... or any other herb that you like, as long as it's not too overpowering...as you want the goat's cheese and capsicum shine. Day 4 - chicken soup

Here is where you can prepare ahead of time and get a meal out of it at the same time...this is another favourite of mine, which most Chileans tend to do for parties...it's a chicken paste that you can use to make canapes, or you can use it as a dip with sliced up carrots, celery or corn chips, crackers...But...first we need to boil the chicken first...if you can use a whole chicken great..if not use drumsticks and wings...because you'll get all of the lovely glutamine and co

Ingredients Eggs depends on how many guests you'll be having mayonnaise, 2-3 Tbsp, again depends on how many eggs you're using 2-3 tsp mustard...I use Masterfoods french mustard, but you can use any that you like...it depends on your taste roasted capsicum slices How to

Roasted capsicums are such a great thing to have, you can add them to anything...the red and yellow ones are soooo lovely and sweet...Again this can be done a few days ahead, storing them in an airtight container, or you can slice them up and put them in a glass jar covered with olive oil Ingredients large red capsicum How to... place capsicum under a hot grill and let it char on one side, then turn over...do this until the whole capsicum is looking burnt once capsicum is ch
